Welcome from our Festival Director

Welcome to The BIG Art Festival in Stockton-on-Tees, where we showcase artists and offer demonstrations and workshops to inspire creativity and connection within our artist community. I am a visual artist, living and working in the heart of Stockton; I have built my career on large-scale community projects, murals, expressionist portraiture and calligraphy. My business has been firmly rooted in the town centre and now I want to see our art scene grow. Having experienced first-hand the extent of this town’s under-represented talent, I hope to bring the visual arts further into the light with an inclusive and celebratory festival.
