Louise Goult

Louise is a textile artist whose work explores relationships with others and the world around us. She narrates hidden stories and memories; protecting and honouring them in stitch. Her work is research-based conceptual art, identifying and considering the quirky overlooked facts. Materials are central to Louise's work; it is essential they further the narrative and expand the emotion behind the piece. This often results in non-traditional textile materials being chosen. Louise has exhibited across the UK in both solo and group exhibitions, held numerous artist residencies and taken part in artist collaborations.
